Not sure which plan applies?

Count the financial accounts in one company first.

A financial account is a bank or credit-card account connected to, or uploaded into, the company workspace.

Review My Setup

For accounting firms

Use the same per-company plans across a client portfolio.

The $50 and $100 rates apply to each client company workspace. Multi-client implementation, custom permissions, migrations, and non-standard review workflows are scoped separately.

  • Separate workspace and source package for each client company
  • Accounting-team review of flagged exceptions within each workspace
  • Firm reviewers retain approval responsibility and client relationship ownership
  • Portfolio implementation and service levels confirmed before activation

What the monthly plan covers

A controlled AI bookkeeping workspace.

Each standard plan combines the Simple Tax AI workspace with accounting-team review of flagged exceptions. Cleanup, tax, advisory, and custom implementation remain outside the monthly scope.

Source intake and organization

Upload statements and supporting documents to the appropriate company workspace. Files remain available during review.

AI-assisted bookkeeping preparation

Prepare routine coding and related bookkeeping work using available transaction information and confirmed business context.

Exception visibility

Keep new, unsupported, duplicate, unusual, or context-dependent activity visible for review rather than treating it as final.

Professional review, approval, and posting

The Simple Tax AI accounting team reviews flagged exceptions. A designated professional reviewer approves the proposed treatment and moves approved entries into the company books. Client questions remain open until the needed business context or evidence is supplied.

Monthly deliverables

What the standard plan produces each month.

Delivery timing and response expectations are confirmed during onboarding because they depend on when complete statements and client answers are received.

01

Prepared coding

Routine statement activity prepared from available evidence and confirmed company context.

02

Exception list

Unsupported, unusual, duplicate, owner-related, or context-dependent activity kept visible.

03

Professional review

Flagged exceptions reviewed by the Simple Tax AI accounting team before approval.

04

Approved bookkeeping

Approved entries moved into the company books with relevant source support retained.

Quoted separately

Work that changes the scope.

These items require a review because their effort depends on history, entity structure, data quality, or reporting requirements.

  • Historical catch-up or cleanup bookkeeping
  • Multiple companies, consolidations, or intercompany activity
  • Property, department, class, location, or project dimensions
  • Custom integrations, migrations, or reporting workflows
  • Tax preparation, filing, assurance, and advisory services

Pricing questions

Scope before surprises.

Does the $50 or $100 plan include professional review?

Yes. The standard monthly plan includes review of flagged exceptions by the Simple Tax AI accounting team. It does not include historical cleanup, tax preparation, assurance, or advisory services.

Is the price per user?

No. The standard price is organized around one company workspace and its number of bank and credit-card accounts.

What counts as a financial account?

A bank or credit-card account connected to, or uploaded into, the company workspace for bookkeeping.

Are tax returns included?

No. Tax preparation, tax filing, tax advice, and assurance services are outside the standard AI Bookkeeping plan.

Is historical cleanup included?

No. Catch-up and cleanup work is reviewed and quoted separately because the effort depends on the number of periods, account quality, and missing evidence.

Can accounting firms use these plans for clients?

Yes. A firm can assign the appropriate plan to each company workspace. Complex client structures receive a separate scope review.

Is there a public maximum number of accounts or transactions?

The standard public rule is based on whether one company has up to five or more than five financial accounts. Unusually high transaction volume, specialized reporting, or non-standard support requirements may require a scope review before activation.

How are support and response times defined?

Support channels, document cutoffs, client-response expectations, and monthly delivery timing are stated in the order or engagement documents before activation.

When is a custom quote required?

A quote is required for multiple companies, consolidations, intercompany activity, custom dimensions, migrations, historical cleanup, or non-standard workflows.
